WOD: OPERATION OVERLORD

June 6th 1944 a day that should never be forgotten…..D-Day. The invasion of Normandy, France by American, British and Canadian forces in an effort to liberate France and the rest of Europe from the German Third Reich. Each segment of the workout represents one of the five beaches of Normandy that were invaded. The Code Name for the invasion was “OPERATION OVERLORD“.

You can choose to do either the Buy in or the Cash out. In other words you will row at either the beginning of the workout or at the end of the workout.

If you set your plate down at anytime during the workout you must do 5 Burpees on the Plate before you continue with the workout. Resting the plate on the top of your feet is the same as allowing the plate to touch the ground…You have burpees!!!!
